I have a simple question that I all of a sudden realised I didn't know the answer to. So if it's not too much trouble I was wondering if one of you nice bunnies or the wonderful webmaster Alan could inform me...
What exactly was a customer service bunny, the one who wore the sash?

Hello,
I am not totally sure, but I think the Customer Service Bunny was introduced in the mid-Seventies and her duties included providing information for customers within the club and answering telephone enqueries. This would probably include details of rates for group functions and general information such as opening hours, performers appearing at the club, membership rates, drink and food pricing etc..
She may also have had responsibility for organising charity apperances by Bunnies, but they were usually handled by the Bunny Mother in each club.
The idea of a special Customer Service Bunny seems a little redundant, as it was for their exceptional customer service that Bunnies became renowned worldwide.
That and exceptional beauty.
So to have a separate Customer Service Bunny as some kind of 'super hostess' when there were already 20-150 highly-trained Bunnies in each club providing high-quality service seems unnecessary.
There must have been a reason and a unique remit for the post. But I can't put my finger on it. ("Hey, no touching the Bunnies!!")
If anybody knows, please post. _________________ Alan, Webmaster

I think you are right about this Alan... it wouldn't have been convinient to walk up to a bunny carrying a heavy tray, about to serve her customers, and ask her about trivial things.
But if anyone can add something I'd love to hear about it!
