Hello everyone
This is a cute clip...it will bring back many fond memories.
But the ending.....I think it may be, a guy. If it isn't, I'm sorry if I offended anyone. It is only my perception.
Love,

Thanks for the link Sandy.
That's a nicely edited video.
The shots near the end are from "A Bunny Girl's Tale" (1998) a documentary short by British filmmaker Sarah Miles (not the actress of "Ryan's Daughter" fame). This short also features musician Polly Harvey in a black Bunny costume.

I have never thought the orange-costumed Bunny was anything other than a woman. The end credits of those appearing in the film only list women's names.
The very last shot is of (original London Bunny) Kathleen Bascombe's daughter, Lisa, who herself worked briefly as a real Playboy Bunny (Bunny Leigh) at the Rhodos Playboy Casino a year after (1999) appearing in this documentary in a ersatz costume.

See this website for more information on "A Bunny Girl's Tale":

Sarah Miles had applied to be a Bunny at the London Playboy Club in the late Seventies but never took up the job offer as she became pregnant with her son.
Sarah has directed another short, "2001 - A Family Odyssey; Ophelia's Version", loosely based around her own family's history, but retold with herself as Ophelia (as in Hamlet's tragic girlfriend) in which she dons an ersatz Bunny costume. _________________ Alan, Webmaster

Hi Alan
Thank you for the history behind the video clip.
You amaze me with your knowledge.
It's always fun to read your posts......we each come away, with the knowledge of having learned something new.

Sandy, I just saw this and just smiled all the way through it. It DID bring back a lot of memories, including the dancing we used to do when we prayed we weren't going to "spill" out of our suits and show something. Wasn't easy, especially when we had to dance atop the piano. Loved it all, thanks for sharing the memories.....also...did you notice that the bunny at the end who was smoking did the one taboo thing all our Bunny mothers hated???? Her ears were straight up like a jackass. hahaha too funny.
Again, thanks for the memories my Bunny sister. You're the best!
And thanks to Alan for the history behind the clip.

Hi Donna
You made me laugh out loud, with your comment on the "jackass ears"! Ha Ha!
A few girls in our club, wore them that way.
If our Bunny Mother didn't like them.....she never said so....or if she did...she was ignored.
Oh God, the dancing! How funny was that? We used to dance in the service bar. Since we worked in a Casino....I don't think the dancing would have been acceptable, on the Casino floor, while people were busy concentrating on their betting. (You danced on a piano? Wow.)
We had music in the service bars...plus we could hear the live bands, from the various lounges, on the Casino floor. We would be so prim and proper on the Casino floor......everything just so.......walking with confidence.....but when we rounded the corner, into the service bar....Woo Hoo!!!! It was a different world. I'm sure the bar staff, was highly entertained. Ha Ha! Oh, we had such fun! It was even funnier, when the Bunny Mother made a surprise entrance! We had to scramble, then. She pretended to be angry...but we could see she was amused.
Glad you enjoyed the video. It did bring back fond memories.
Love,
