Crying or Very sad Anyone who remembers Pepper and Lucy?

Well last week, Lucy came to Adelaide from Cairo, where she now resides, to say goodbye to a very sick friend.

We only had a window of about 2 hours together and the connection was just as if we had never been apart.

Our lives have been so diverse and yet, it was as tho we had always been sitting around talking together.

It was so special to spend that time together, and it was so nice that I could offer her the support she needed at this time.

There is something very special about friendships that were formulated in the time we all spent together at Playboy. Something quite different and special from anything else I have experienced.

Lucy (Linda) has now returned home and we hope, and plan to catch up again very soon.

Anyone have any similar stories?

Love, Pepper. Love

I was in Bucharest in Romania in 1997, with Romanian friends who had opened an English Pub'The White Horse'. One night I was taken by these Romanian friends to a new Restaurant. They said it was Chinese food and very exclusive.
When we had eaten they said that the Owner of the restaurant normally came to speak to them, and this was good for me as he spoke very good english.
Can you imagine their surprise when the owner came up to the table and said"hi David, long time no see" it was John Wing, whom I hadn't seen since 1980. I kept in touch with him for a while and remember buying some sesame oil and ginger root, in england to take out to him for the restaurant.
However he left there and I haven't been in contact since. Although looked for him a few times in the Sydney Bar in Bucharest.
It just shows that ex-playboy people turn up all over the world, and you never know when you are going to cross paths.
If your out there, John, I 'd just like to say Hi!

David

Hi Pepper

Think I do vaguely remember you. Were you always a Croupier or were you a cocktail bunny first ? I worked on B level most of the time I was there. I think Gay Tallon was the Pit Boss then. Does that name ring a bell ? Was also friendly with Nick Quinlan the Pit Boss and the other pit boss, big blond guy Mike (can't remember his last name).
