Theres only 4 people on this site, It Sucks Now, im talking to myself and all the messages are un-returned, this is a very crappy place, For day on end no response, I hate coming here,

Or if you want a more tactful answer: only check this site once per month, you'll be less disappointed.

I am not sure what you expect from this site. It's not really for you (or me for that matter). It's for a small group of people who share a unique connection: individuals who worked for Playboy Clubs International.

It's entirely up to them whether they want to contribute to the site, whether that's by contributing photos, a biography or by posting an occasional message.

I say again: you only get out of the site what you put into it. I should have improved matters long ago with a more appealing look to the site and made these forums much easier to use. The registration requirement and creating separate forums for each club have clearly acted as impediments to posting (cf. the Guestbook).

But remember there isn't a large number of former Playboy Club staff to begin with. And there are a number of additional factors to consider which explain why activity on this forum is so low and slow:

• many staff have sadly passed on
  
• others may have no interest in or access to the Internet
  
• still others will have little interest in their Playboy days decades later
  
• many are still finding this site
  
• and even those who do may not be interested in posting here

All that's understanable.

Finally, there are lots of regular Playboy Club reunions held all around the world that are popular and fun. Many of these have been running much longer than this site. They are private gatherings for friends and old colleagues. It's their business, their lives. They are always welcome to use this site to publicise these gatherings and get-togethers but they usually don't need to.

Speaking of which, the next International Bunny Reunion, organised by "After the Hutch", is being held in Lake Tahoe in 2010.

Hi all - longtime lurker, first time poster.

What started out as an interest in local history coupled with a treasured orange ashtray my father took from Kansas City club has become quite the obsession.

Looking for info about the club lead me right here. Then the eBay browsing began. I started with the ordinary trinkets, then moved on to more seemingly rare items. Before I knew it, I was buying vintage gifts from the magazine and then "What am I going to do with the Rabbit's head cake pan? I don't bake!"

I swear, I could come across a garage sale with an original costume or Femlin figurines and when they tell me there's an old two-seat car out in the barn, I'd say "Yeah, yeah... I'll just take these, thank you."

Much love to all former and current Bunnies. I admire your work and your place in history.

I enjoyed reading of your interest in the Bunnies...and how it has evolved. (I also have an orange ashtray...a friend found it at a thrift shop)

You made me laugh with the Bunny head "cake pan." Ha ha! (I have one of those, as well) I also have a couple original costumes. And oh so many trinkets..

Many thanks and much love in return...for your sweet comments, on the Bunnies and our beloved Alan....who without...many of us would not have found each other. Alan had provided us with the means to re connect, with many long lost Bunny sisters...as well as make new friends. We are forever grateful, for his time and effort.

Sandy....I am very so sorry you felt jaded after reading my pm mess. to fix this is to just meet me & than maybe you will feel different...either way it does not matter to me because people that judge paople before meeting in person ...NOT ON A ELECTRONIC device....needs to come out of there box...so I will see you on Thurs....and that is that...OH by the way my SENORITY # is 4 ..maybe thats why we never met....I was busy doing outside promos.!!! You are barking up the wrong tree here, Mandi. I am the nicest person you would ever want to meet.

You sent me a PM...which I perceived, as attacking me....for not including pictures of you and your friends.. in my personal album. I explained why that was. Apparently you still don't understand. It is my own personal album. Period.

Your seniority number, which you seem to think makes you special...means nothing to me. I also did many, many promotions. Probably as many as you.

Please stop trying to start a fight. We are having our 29th Reunion this Saturday. Life is short. I look forward to meeting you.
