My husband found a rabbit head metal numbered playboy key on a beach in Worcester, MA in the very early '60's. No internet then, so we had no clue how to find out who it belonged to. Does anyone know how we could find out? We would love to return the key to the owner-- he would be very surprised! The number on the key is E15656.
If there is any way you can help, it would be appreciated. Somewhere in the archives maybe there are registrations of those keys. I have searched many Playboy sites and learned that the metal keys were replaced by cards around 1966.  |

| You could probably call Playboy, Inc. in Chicago - they would have the records of the members - the keys were assigned as the member signed up. They've kept everything else, I'm sure they would have that as well.....the trick would be to find the correct person to do the tracking. |
