I was an
all-American, girl-next-door, high school Prom Queen and flight
attendant before becoming a Playboy Bunny.
I joined Playboy
in 1968 to open the new Lake Geneva Wisconsin Club/Hotel, with my
childhood friend Bunny Candy (see
my photo album). Being a Playboy Bunny was a great experience.
After meeting the comedian Shecky Greene, at the Club, Shecky sang
"Matchmaker, matchmaker" to Hef in the Penthouse.
On several
occasions, Hef invited the Bunnies from our club to party at the
Chicago mansion. Very glamorous!! Hef loved all his "girls" and wanted
the best for us; money, respect, fun.
I have since then
traveled the world, always taking the off-beat path, enjoyed life and
interesting people. Recently, I went sky diving, as a Mothers' Day
present from my 3 fabulous children.
We had a great
time at the Playboy Reunion in Las Vegas; a big sisterhood!! It was
fantastic when all the former Bunnies danced together to "Pretty
Woman". And we still are!
